Honestly, I think rape is inherent in Omegaverse. The problem is there is an innate power imbalance with the whole A/B/O system-- Omegas often are not even looked at as people, they're just tools for breeding/cum dumpsters/onahole. In most stories as well, they are just physically weaker, especially when their heat comes. Even if they hate it, their very nature as Omegas make them seek out alphas so they can breed.
I've read a lot of Omegaverse, and I know a lot of authors make their own rules/add their own variables to their work ie pairing can be undone, no fated pairs, only omegas can give birth, etc. But the one thing I find in common: no matter how physically or mentally strong the omega is, it's a free for all once their heat comes. And of course there's an alpha (or group of them) that's always around when it does come...

But omegaverse for yaoi is used only to make the society even more toxic and add drama.
And thats what manga authors love... adding drama over and over... everyone are antagonists.....

I don't get this shit. Is it so unfair to ask for an omegaverse story without rape/blackmail? It's like a formula at this point. The fact that the position of the Omega has changed doesn't change the fact that it's basically the same old shit. Sigh.
