A theory that may not be right.

SO let me say my theory. You know what the curse is right? The wolf killed the woman in the white cloak. The woman was going to see her daughter, and she pleaded for her life but the wolf killed her anyway so she cursed the wolfs with endless starvation, the exact curse is "You wolves...will be plagued withendless starvation.Unless you eat the heart of my descendant...The curse will never end" But you're also probably wondering why the dumb wolfs starvation ends from sleeping with boy redcloak? I think It's because theres another meaning to the curse. I think It's not to eat the heart but to win over the heart of the descendants and only then would you regain your fullness and have no hunger. I think the wolf is winning over the red-cloak by sleeping with him because thats an act of romance, pleasure etc. Also there is a like quote along the lines of "eat your heart out" and it refers to, like feeling sorry. Like you feel regret and sorrow and suffer from a sense of longing for someone, something that you cannot have, envy etc. I think it connects to the curse. Also I'm curious about the blood thing. I think they can tell apart redcloaks by how sweet their blood is. Anyways this is just my theory. Please reply if you have anything to add.

I think so too. And killing and eating one of her descendants would most likely just make the curse worse.

Exactly! And it happens that the red cloak dont really have feelings so it should be hard to win their heart etc. Also do you really think no wolf ever succeeded into eating a red claok heart for 500 years? NO.. which means your theory is most likely right.
