Thanks my main curiosity regarding this story. It still doesn't explain the seme's psychopathic nature but then again not expecting a lot of logic from a yaoi manga.
my guess is that master yoon had a lover in the other noble family that was purged
so after his liver was killed by his father (probably) he stepped down from the government and was basically traumatised
so he couldnt get aroused anymore but after seeing na kyums drawings he could forget the trauma
thats why he seeks na kyum because he makes him forget his past lover
as a result he despises his family and cut all ties with them
