^Agreed with her explanation. Because fujoshis fetishize gay people for their own desires and fantasies. It’s demeaning and often taken too far. It’s like straight guys who fetishize lesbians because they think it’s “hot” and that’s all they care about, the sex. They don’t actually treat or care about lesbians as normal people with normal lives that don’t revolve around sex, and many don’t actually fight for or advocate equal rights for them. They’re just there for the fantasy. Most bl stories are by female writers and a lot of readers are young girls only looking for gay porn, as you can see by tons of comments all on this site looking for smut or by fangirls posting sexual comments “who do you think is top/bottom??” on social media of actual real gay people. That’s why they get a bad reputation.
