It’s the usual trope in yaoi. What can you do other than shaking your head in disappointment?
But this story has been truly amazing so far so I can’t help but raise some hope that the author won’t follow the same generic plot line.
Yeah, i'm really hoping that it's going to stay away from the cliches. The plot is certainly thickening, i have high hopes for that.

I mean, we all new it would come to this: he's got a tragic past, his dad probably beat him or something like that, the mc is going to sympathize, they're gonna fall love, yadda yadda yadda.
All this politics stuff is getting interesting though.
