He doesnt even question why only got headaches gone when he is with jeanette or why its gotten worse with athy.
I think it might be due to the degree of pain he is in? I don't remember where but I think it's somewhere in the previous chapters where it shows claude collapsed on the floor calling for jeanette.

It seems like the headaches had eventually contributed to him either weakening physically/mentally or dying. Cause he passed out and then another guy who seems like his brother came out and smirked down at him. So I'm assuming he got killed off after that

nonono! that was a MAYBE in the ORIGINAL plot. it was like a flashback or a peek into what happened after the novel ends and what happened to claude cause we all know jeanette is partly conceived from magic etc, etc. so she might've had a negative impact on claude's health post novel. in the new timeline with our athy, from what I know so far, claude is in perfect health and will continue to live well with athy
Well, to be honest Claude is turning into a very disappointing character as of now. Just because he can't handle his headache he calls Jennette over to subside his headache and have some sleep. Wasn't he supposed to be a powerful character whom withstood many deaths, his beloved lovers' (Athanasia's mom) death and hateful memories he had with royal family (which is his biological family)? To top it off, he is a king, goddamnit. I mean, he acts weak af, he doesn't act like a king at all and he just seems very out of character to me now.
Not only this, he uses Jennette. (which is not okay, Jennette is not a lovable character to me as well but she doesn't deserve this at all. She wants to be loved, wants her family to know her and this is not a crime, right? Being a bit of an idiot shouldn't be a reason to make her suffer and use her and it doesn't really make sense how everyone just hates her. I don't like her either, but I don't hate her for just existing.)
Okay, if I were to leave this aallllll aside what about his completely illogical behaviour? He saw Athanasia's drawings he kept, the portrait he smiled, everyone remembering her and getting shocked that Claude not remembering her... Yeah maybe he thought it's all because of dark magic but he is not an idiot, right? He could've done something with his magic if that were the case. How come he doesn't really try to remember her and just ask for Jennette? How the hell is he this weak??
