WOOOAH THERE I’m afraid you are totally off the mark man Leslie’s sister in no ways had any good intentions behind reporting the fire. That fire was caused to test Leslie’s powers and if she did end up using them to save herself then Sperado was gonna lock her up. Eli thought that once Leslie’s powers were discovered then Leslie would become favored and Eli would be thrown to the side because her powers are weak. Idk how you didn’t catch that tho it seemed pretty clear to me.

I wish Eli was disgusted at the cruel things her family's done but she knows everything that's going on. She's not innocent. I pity her a bit that she has to mature up in such a bad way because of her family's upbringing.

Hold up, hold up, hold up! Wasn’t it the older sister who told the guards that Leslie’s carriage was on fire...? The older sister could’ve left the carriage to burn while she took all the power to herself but she didn’t—remember she chose to help Leslie... there must be a reason why the older sister saved her... I don’t think the older sister truly hates Leslie because maybe at some point she found out the truth and felt empathic and disgust at her own family's’ actions...
