Yuuki is the kind of guy, who's ideal, at all matter of characterization. The typical, "too good to be true.". And mostly, these type of people are the kind that doesn't stay(I meant in a way that, they are only passing by, as harsh that it could mean), it's like, destiny is letting you meet that person for a reason, for higher/greater providence. I noticed it also in a K-DRAMA, idk if any one of you, by chance, also watched Hotel De Luna. Manwol's first love was also like that, almost perfect, but their relationship didn't last, although for a different reason, but I think authors like them want to convey that kind of message, hehehehe tho, that's purely my opinion. Good catch! Yes, this is a very common trope in this type of stories. Do you think it was used well in this one? RancidLemons
Although it's only my opinion, but I think, yeah, it was used purposefully well. Mafuyu, for me, is the type of person whose potential and personal development can only be nurtured with triggering experiences, and the author really portrayed it vividly.

I agree! I can't wait to see how he'll develop as a character emotionally.
Btw, do you have any other manga to recommend while we wait for the next chapter? I started re-reading Blue Sky Complex and it's still a masterpiece but I wanna read something new.

Hmmm what genre do you prefer? If it's slice of life, I only have a short list, hehe, 'cause I'm not really a fan of it

Haha, it's ok. It can even be smut as long as the premise is realistic. I don't like weird rape scenes, I dislike those scenes even in regular anime and manga.

I recommend Kimi wa Natsu no Naka, it also has a second volume. It’s about two best friends and unrequited love. Check it out it’s one of my favorites.
