Erm...many men can be like this. Mostly in private (or when they're a little drunk), but that's not as uncommon as you'd think. I'm talking from first-hand experience.
What a retrograde way of thinking :/ I think that is something really bad with this society who thinks that men cannot have emotions like that. My father and grandfathers cry often seeing movies, they call me cute and love their little cats are dogs, buying ribbons and things like that because "they look cute", they are not less manly because of that :v I'm really sorry for you if you don't have the experience of seeing men and women being able to feel and act in whatever way they want without having to fit in retrogrades male and female roles.
We are in the 21st century, year 2020...I think that we can be more mature and open minded that the past generations and stop judging others.

Guys, I'm not saying he's too effeminate. You're thinking too deeply and ignoring the underlying meaning. I am just saying I don't feel any mature thoughts. It's more like "aw you're so cute I can just eat you up," which is a casual phrase often heard by women (out loud) all the time. I would just like to see more complexity. I need to see more depth in his psyche and his feelings towards her. Ya'll don't have to gang up on me. Prince aquasted?'s or aquasteed?'s thoughts always sound like they are written by a woman. Like when he thinks the main character is too cute I hear an overlay of some chicks going "sooo adorable" while seeing a puppy or baby. It just doesn't sound like a MAN finding his woman cute. I like his dudelier thoughts though despite the saturated girliy atmosphere of this shoujo.
