I don't think he break up with his gf since he's afraid to bring it up, afraid she will cut her wrist again. Latest he met with his gf is still comforted her in bed. This becomes the messy relationship between two women and one guy. Which means this guy sleeps with two women at the same time. I don't understand the guy if he doesn't love his gf, why he accepts her and sleeps with her. Knowing she's mentally ill type and can't let go. He should know better not to play with someone like this. Once he jumped into the relationship with the woman like his gf, he can't get out for the rest of his life, unless the other party dies! He loves the FL and be back together with her, but as long as his gf is alive, he and the ML can't be together. I don't blame his gf, the sicko, or the FL who loves him, but himself. If he insists on living with the FL, his gf will kill herself. Someone needs to break this messy bond, suck up and live on. I have no idea how the author will end the story with the plot of scumbag ML like this.

Us, knowing full well it's fiction and how it will end but I wish so much that the FL would be able to break up with him and start with someone new. I would love her to learn from the messy relationship with him and have better one next time. For the ML, he has to clean up his own mess and take the responsibilities with his gf. If he has to marry and live with the mentally unstable or ill wife for the rest of his life, he deserves it. He can't just say he loves her, sleeps with her and left!

Just skimmed vol 8 (not sure what chaps) and they do end up together. I believe he breaks up with gf and then they have their happy hours of love making and breakfast together.(if you just read vol 8 alone you’d be convinced they’ve been in a healthy relationship and look cute af)
She still transfers (he’s a bit sad) and works with new guy (he’s important y’all).
Except she has a talk with this old man and probs tell her to get away from him cuz the ex-gf is self harming. She goes back to office sad and reminisce their split moment happiness before bursting to tears and last panel shows the new guy she works with who may potentially be the comforter.
