The practical part of my brain says "Remember that Director Kang was very clear it was a one time type of deal", but goddamn how could he expect things to go back to having a normal working relationship with Yiyoung after a night like they had?? And the Director was overly friendly imo. With Yiyoung catching feelings too, it made sense for the young man to be mistaken about the director's words and actions.
ALSO HE'S SUPPOSED TO BE STRAIGHT!
Director Kang wasn't just leading Yiyoung on, he was leading us all on.
