I don’t think they explained it well later on (or maybe I didn’t pick up on it) but I’m guessing her logic was that she wanted to make them starve until they eat the descendants heart which the descendants would never agree to bc they want them to face their punishment and they most likely hate the wolves anyway so they would probably avoid them like the plague....that’s just my theory though
I think it was about making them fall in love. Wolves will starve until some of them falls in requited love. It makes sense because she cursed the wolves for killing her. If the descendant and a wolf fall in love, no one would be killed right? I think she wanted to stop the hate between wolves and red hoods.

Yeahh. That is the underlying message of the curse, wolvesneed to have the heart of the red cloak. But on the surface, wolves all sees it as a curse and red cloaks-- not sure how they translate it.
To be honest, i'm sure that i subconciously created this theory to make the story more romantic lol. It explains why my 'theory' doesn't have any logic xD
