There are people on here who read yaoi ir watch yaoi with their parents and I just don't understand that relationship dynamic. I can't even say the word gay in front of my mother without her looking at me weird.
I have a little cousin who was around 12 at the time but he looked over my shoulder and said "oooh watcha reading? Yaoi?!" In front of all of our relatives who were visiting my overly religious grandmother and when I say my jaw dropped, I mean that bitch hit the floor. I was so shocked that he said that but luckily I wasnt reading yaoi at that time. After that my grandma kept asking us "what?! What's yaoi? Why wont you tell me?" And my little cousin thought it was hilarious. I asked him where he learned that word from and if he reads yaoi and he said one of his girl friends from school showed it to him (ノ≧∇≦)ノ now I'm more careful of what I read when hes next to me since hes such a snoop
