Ok so I didn't cringe at all and I am actually very happy with where the things are going. let me elaborate. 1. Why wasn't the kiss cringy: So Ahn had a total right to act the way he did, given all the 'signs'. Director is an adult and he knows very well what he does and what consequences his actions might bring. At the same time, we are being presented with Ahn's perspective, hence maybe it wasn't 100% the way we/he sees it/ Anyway. He was right to kiss him, and frankly Director's reaction wasn't bad at all. He was literally just suprised. Suprised with the kiss and later with Ahn's reaction- that he is not that man eater he might have taken him for, but a pure and emotional cinamon roll. A real deal and a husband material I swear to God. 2. And what's the Director's deal. So basically I feel like he though that Ahn is this kind of superficial and very much sexually liberated guy. During thier night together he asks about all those rules, somehwat assuming that Ahn is used to one night stands and that this deal is just 10/10 for both of them, what was very respectful imo. I think he really likes him. But preferes to not get too involved with him for two reasons: workplace romance is complicated; and that he thinks that Ahn is not really serious. Cause let's be all honest. Having a fuck buddy at work, especially when you're a big CEO and the other party is not only the same sex (as much as I hate it is still less socially acceptable in certain societies) but a much younger rep of a partner company. A company YOU chose after sleeping with him for the first time. Of course he has to be careful. And I completly understand why he decided to have this one night stand. Of course to 'erase bad memories' but also to get rid of this tension and be able to move on. This is all very mature imo. And seriously if it's gonna continue to be so thought through and realistic I am going to fall even deeper in love with this comic DANG
