As ive said in previous comments and youve explained perfectly, she is not perfect. In fact, she has failed hard sometimes and admitted info she shouldnt have revealed.
But i rhink imperfect chars can be attractive too :D
About everything else, i agree. The emperor has done well here as an emperor.
I too, like flawed characters, but i dont like them recieving merit for things they clearly do not deserve. That just leaves me unsatisfied and wanting more.
I really like yessuhs personality, but I wish shed just show us for once that she does, in fact, deserve her title.
Hahahaha i also thought that getting the "best assassin in this region" title was too much xDddd she is not much better than the poor guy who falls from the roof xDddd
I just want to say that her situation so far doesn't let her play her role as an assassin.
Acting and spying isn't what needed to be a good assassin. Sneaking into places, maybe through acting as a servant or just breaking in, and poisoning people are what assassin do.
Having good combat skill to fight someone out in the open isn't being a good assassin. Assassin ambush people and slash their throat before they fight back.
So far she's been in combat with people she can't kill without breaking her contact. She hasn't been able to show her true skill as the "best assassin in this region". You aren't really being fair if you judge her by what shown so far. Situations where she hasn't tried to kill people.
Maybe its because the times where she showed her skills there were ppl who were better than her... but her dialogue was like "this is a special skill i am the best at it". The author made her look like you should expect a lot from her, but you end up seeing that shes not that much of an expert. Being quiet, trying not to be found, impersonating others if its necessary, are all possible assassins skills in my opinion (and also the author shows she has those too, though in the end she gets caught), of course you can think different :D
Also, dont mean to be fair or not. Its a story and i am not judging a real person, i am talking about a char and the situations the author put her in. Still it is nice and i plan to continue reading, and it is a manga i would recommend for the funny side of it (づ￣ ³￣)づ

Yo he still needs to give her compensation for all the work she has previously done, including side cases and such.
Also, this might bring hate, but id say shes in he wrong here. You guys are thinking about him as a man. You see their relationship as one between between a man and a woman.
Never forget, that before all that, its between an employer and their employee. Not to mention, one of them is the EMPEROR.

I dont think doing a background check on an assasin when youre both envolved in a very serious case that will afect the lifes of millions is hardly wrong. Yes, his reason for doing so was stupid(jealousy. That was pretty petty), but thats because i believe he should have done so before. I dont even think yessuhs angry about that, since shes probably went through this before if shes done enough missions as to be names the best assasin in their village.
I really like yessuh, but im not blind to some of her flaws.
So far, she has showed NO indication of the skills shes hailed for.
Her fighting skills arent as good as id like, her acting skills are pretty bad and her adaptability, a skill which is vital to the job, is no where to be seen.
shes emotional, and lets her emotions get the best of her way too easily.
Even going as far as to threaten the emperor.
