I don’t think Curtis would have allowed her to get pregnant with his child if she was going to die due to the process. He stated in earlier chapters he didn’t even mind if they had kids at all, he just wanted to be with her. I think the reason he wants her having his children so soon is because it cements his position with her and I think he wants to be the first to have children with her and since a certain cat is rushing the process (lol) they had to get it done.
yeah it's something like that...he said he wanted her to have his babies because he thinks a woman will love the father of her children, so it IS to cement his position by her side
