That's what yaoi originally means though. There's actually a lot of good yaoi mangas out there just waiting to be translated. I've seen a lot of them lately. I'm just waiting for someone to pick them up.
Did you know, Yaoi actually means meaningless erotica? (Or something like that) The syllables Ya and Oi mean meaningless and erotica or something like that (not particularly in that order)
It's not that i hate it being erotic, i just like the romance to...exist? U know
