The only way it matters if the author introduces an omega fated for the alpha. Otherwise an alpha and beta together doesn’t utilize any of the omegaverse tropes and is no different than a standard BL plot.

Not really, there's more to omegaverse than the heats and faited pair thing. It really depends on how it's written. Kashikomarimashita, Destiny is omegaverse and the alpha x beta pairing definitely utilized things of the genre. Seems like Tadaima, Okaeri's will too.
Just explains how good the writing is. It doesnt need omegaverse to be intriguing. But im sure they will emphasize it in future chapters.
