It feels like a pretty cliche trope. I'm persisting because this mangaka so far has created some wonderful stories that have managed to stay above the tired old tropes, even when they have familiar themes, so I'm hoping this will turn out well.
I like this manga and all, but I would have liked it more without Akira sleeping with an adult. It felt like such a grounded story, realistic and all that about teens and their problems as they slowly fall in love. But with that element it became like so many other BLs out there and made me not as immersed.
