well I must say I agree with you. nobody kisses like this just for greeting someone else. To me I don't like this and I think some authors use cliché or something they have read instead of reality. well this is somethig to build the plot. now we have someone else for jin and a new story of jelousy will start. so dejà vu

Yeah. Unfortunately there are still Japanese mangakas who don't really do research (by research here I mean just a simple research on foreign cultures/lifestyle etc). Like when they write about Arab characters, I always laugh at they way they portray them and their country. Or how they name foreigners. I think you know what I mean if you've read many yaois lol XD.

Well, French kiss or not, you don't just randomly kiss anyone on the lip. But it's true that some mangakas portray certain things based on how they 'fantasize' it. If you've read a lot you'd know what I mean. In this case I believe the author is trying to create conflicts, but yeah, when don't properly look at how you're writing your story, this is what happens.

I do agree. I read a lot in these years and there are some always some topics. the fireworks the festival st valentine the kiss ... sometimes is boring. this story is not bad but not great . it is so and so ...waiting for something new. I don't understand why some projects are not finished and there are good stories. well in these days we have nothing else to do except reading a lot more then before.
I know everyone's losing their shit here but trust me, this is something to do with the author. I've been reading mangas and watching animes for almost 15 years now, so I can at least tell how some mangakas portray things in their works. Like kissing, for example. Funny enough, there are actually mangakas who make it seem like kissing on the lips is normal among foreigners. "This is just like a greeting in America," for example. I'm not sure whether it's because they're really clueless, or they purposely make it that way for the sake of the story. Either way, there are mangas like that. And honestly everytime I see it I laugh. I'm not American but I've been to America and other countries and I'm also multiracial. Obviously no one greets by kissing on the lips. Usually people would give a light peck on the cheek to someone close, or just a hug. But some Japanese mangakas are turning it into a 'common cultural thing' lol. XD
