but with such impending doom or such situation, it's understandable one woul get scared but with so much time, they'll be able to think all kinds of scary scenario and one would prepare themselves and be careful as much as possible especially they are given chance for a time to hide for a while. lou just didn't think not one even for one second

I like how everybody here is criticizing the master for not acting up or not picking the gun without realising they would probably shit their pants in a situation like that.
