Mentioned again chapter 2 page 9 and finished in chapter 4 when he only killed Princess Alicia... Who he basically threatened to rape/let his men rape for running her mouth (I imagine a Maria Antoinette senario for her but still, not cool) before being merciful and "just" killing her.
Side note with princesses killings -Where's Paulena when you need her in the manga?? Lol

Yes, I was not fond of the blonde (short lived [HA] in the story as she was) and was why I likened her to Marie Antoinette - young rich b*h who probably let her people starve so she could have pretty clothes. It speaks more to how her family raised her than her as a person but her greed would cause more deaths. I know she needed to die (the followers of her family she could be the spearhead for was her threat). Bea can't have those followers because of her hair color but CAN be waifu of our LI because she has some royal blood.
The rape threat (even if it was NOT him and he did NOT let it happen but he did NOT correct them) is what made me cringe and almost stop . . . until I made myself remember all the yaoi I read where it happens and they "fall in love" anyway! Who am I to judge and I'm glad I've stuck with it as I have (and still do) read worse. Both in subject and in writing/art style (๑❛ᴗ❛๑) Love me a good train wreak sometimes LOL
As soon as u mentioned yaoi I was like you’re and intellectual but yeah I get what u mean and i just understood the Antoinette references I didn’t pay attention in history that much
