yeah, same. I wanted to see how karasuno would grow onwards too
I feel like if they didn't do timeskip and show their journey till the first graders become third graders, it's highly possible another eyecatching character will come, like hinata & kageyama did in their first year. You see in their third year, karasuno defeated by itachiyama and placed third on nationals???? That's hella crazy. Apart from hinata and co. who become stronger, there must be another crazy first and second years to help them achieve that.

right, I hoped to see new characters as well. tbh I’ve been feeling pretty down that I didn’t get to see the journey. I wanted to see Hinata meet hyakuzawa again, I wanted to see them all graduate, I wanted to see karasuno and nekoma’s relationship even more, I especially wanted to see how karasuno’s team would grow, and there were so many teams I wanted to see again, making a comeback. I wanted to see, maybe suga, daichi, asahi, and the former second years, watching karasuno’s games at the nationals, when hinata, kageyama, tsukishima, and yamaguchi were third years. their loss in the nationals, from kamomedai, made me sad enough, but that timeskip...
I understand that it could’ve been repetitive at that point and the story from there would take a lot more chapters. the story was already at +300 chapters about 8 months in into hinata becoming a first year in high school, so it’d take forever. but MAN the timeskip makes me feel.. ugh... just awful. you can’t be telling me it took 5 years for hinata to face hoshiumi in a volleyball match again..
sorry for this long rant, I’m too let down about this :(
don’t get me wrong, I love seeing hinata in a pro game, and it’s cool to see how a lot of characters look and what they do now!!
Exactly !! It would have been awesome to see how much Karasuno would grow and the comeback from their lost against kamomedai . Now they’re all graduates and not doing volleyball I don’t know just really sad kinda like a hole those 5 years would have been another 100 - 300 chapters and this would have been longer... we could’ve seen how they grew stronger
Just started reading this after watching season 4... kinda sad they skipped 2 years of their high school competitions huhu i wanted to see how Yamaguchi became the captain or seeing Hinata polishing his serve i wanteddd to seee thattttt or if they will ever win the nationals
