Okay?! SO
In generell i like this story i like the idea and i belive the setting has a certain charm to it but god lord do i have issues
Setting: there are so many historical /monarchy/ magical kindom transmigrations stories and when taken all of them into account this one doesn't shine through the story with two kingdoms currently at truce for over a thousand years dosent really pulls it of because it feels shoved in at the end for good measures pluse that book was to much deux ex machina for me as well as her ability to plant sticks as telefon poles wasnt explained you can excuse a lot by saying ITS MAGIC but when you try to carefully craft a magic rule book depending on tree fruits i want an explanation why stuff like that happening and NO by saying it ONLY works when you hold magic hair IAm at least still gonna wanna hear an explanation
Character development:..... where the fuck is that???
Usually a character is introduced you get to know them and then their dark past is revealed here we met a character and then immediately get their dark past and that revelation is suppose to make us take a heart on them? No real developmentsl just BAMM thats ewhy you should like them/pity them and when that shit happens by almost every character i cant help but just grow numb like
The FL feel sad for her because she never had a real family or freedom because her parents were famous and now she has to leave the family she just now got
The ML feel sad for him because he dosent know where his wife went and he misses her and he never really wanted to be king(?) And because cant seem to be able to say no to his mom
The knight fell sad for him because he got demoted after getting injured and cant run no more
That mage feel sad for him because he was to popular and had to leave his position in the capital
That priest feel sad for him because of the kings mother he is in an ethical and moral conflict
Like i dunno i believe this story suffered hard from having to fit everything in 7 chapters
To top ot of all of this feels like a epilogue the whole actual story of how the FL and ML married how the FL became friends with the knight and how he got injured as feel as her becoming friends with that mage happend almost 2 years (i think?) before thus story took place which means thats when tha actual character development happend
Maybe thats why this feels like a bonus book (?) I mean the speak about that stuff but not in details and thats feels like a "yeah you remeber when that happend in the main series? Look we mentioned that again oh and that thats an easter egg ! Oh and bet you thought youd seen the last of them we bought the whole crew from the good old days back together and now the story is really over!"
I mean i read stuff like that before where the wedding was end of the book and then the first kid starts the next one and then a happily ever after is the ultimate ending.
But here im kinda missing a start and development
This is like being thrown in the middel right before the ending
