I get that Ed is not in the right for lashing out like this, but it is true that Mc queen is profiting off of this and relatively unaffected, while Ed lost his job. Ed is wrong for lashing out but I think McQueen should have been honest and told him about the movie and how it would affect their lives before as to prepare.
That aside, i feel like their relationship dynamic is not very compatible. Things like the 50,000 gift was weird and it was like McQueen was his sugar daddy instead of an actual relationship.

Ed knew what he was getting into very well. hes an adult man he makes his won decisions.
