Susan's character, played by Katherine Hepburn in the movie, was hilarious but would drive anyone insane in short order if they had to live with her. Like the manga, she was ditzy to the point of mental illness.

After i've (only) watched the trailer of "Bringing up Baby" i can say that i find her portrayal in this manga totally crazy. (I wanted to check if it's the character or the adaption i didn't like) She's so annoying here...
