OMG YES!!! I still hate Gabriel wtf. Idk why the author tried to make us feel bad for him but he’s seriously messed up in the head no wonder his mom was wary. I agree the whole super natural thing was kind of unnecessary- the plot was all about manipulative acts. I also agree that I didn’t find any of this romantic at all... but I just saw it as a point in how people fall in love by cons

I didn't really like the first story. It was weird how the seme manipulated the uke and we're supposed to view that as an okay thing to do. True, the uke needed to get outta his shell, but idk... None of the romance really made my heart pound. It's like they're just scripted to fall in love without really having any STRONG reasons to... It's like reading about two straight actors falling in love... I like the second one more for diving fully into showing the manipulative seme (and how this manipulation wasn't a good thing) and the explanation for the weird book. Tbh, the weird devil book is pretty unnecessary for the second story. Now y'all feeling super sorry for Gabriel, but I didn't care for him. He reminds me of domestic abusers and the way they like to isolate their partners from their friends, etc... Either way, I'm pretty unsatisfied with both stories. The drama was good and interesting, but the romance wasn't... romantic. In both stories, the semes just wanted to make the ukes fall in love with them without really making the effort to understand them... Idk it just felt superficial. I liked the art at first bc it was pretty, but I started being unable to tell the different characters apart with the same hair color still, the art was nice but needs more personality. All in all, even though I'm unsatisfied, I respect the author for writing this and hope they continue to grow! That's all for my TedTalk lol
