Have you tried reading "Doctor Elise"? It's about a reincarnated surgeon who wants to be a doctor instead of the empress. Detailed about how she approaches illnesses and plagues, but in a more "modern" sense

As someone who is involved in the medical field I really find this kind of manga with quite accurate portrayal and fantasy involved medical knowledge is quite nice. I look forward for more (=・ω・=)
