It's not certain yet, he could be a beta, a sterile omega, a late bloomer omega...
Not sure about alpha doctors getting assigned to omega patients but he could be one too.
It seems like the approach this webtoon took was that there are alphas, betas and omegas, but the omegas are separated in specialized body types and normal body types.
Specialized meaning that one can have children, heats and can be marked by an alpha. Normal omegas can not have children, heats or be marked by alphas.
In addition, some omegas are late bloomers, meaning that they appear to be normal as children, but later in life they can start developing traits of specialized omegas.
To clarify, the doc is a normal omega, whilst the uke in the first story (can’t remember his name) was a late bloomer and a specialized omega. That’s why the doc can’t have children even though he is an omega.
This is my personal opinion based on what I’ve read until now. But if I’m wrong, I apologize for confusing you.

Wait I'm confused, so the uke isn't an omega (/doesn't have a special constitution), does that mean he's a beta? What's the rules of this world, and where do these two in the new couple fit? Are they both alphas? Did I miss something?
