I think the author found that the group was translating it without permission/isn't an official translation so the author requested for it to be dropped.

actually, the author found out about the illegal translation twice. one in a web like this (free version), and another paid translation with a certain price without the proper license. currently, the Archmage's daughter only legally published in daumwebtoon, kakaopage.kr and kakaopage.id (in bahasa indonesia)
and someone in twitter literally blaming the author because he/she only published the work in Korea only and didn't pay attention to the international fans.... -_-
