Another translation said "funny" instead of "cute" I wonder which is correct

I think it’s meant to be cute! he is so friggin cute lol

Personnaly looking at the behavior, I'd guess cute to be the most accurate. I mean the emphasis on the cute smille, pink cheeks, and sparkles around the face, seem to lean towards standards of cuteness rather than comicalness (if that's even a word).
