The first few chapters are basically unrelated but the second half is about kanchan in a new relationship. There's also a continuation of that, which i havent read because its not finished yet: http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/hadakeru_kaibutsu/
And then there's a one shot called azami which explains why he became violent and also shows a little bit of their relationship before the violence started.

I feel like this was just really well thought through. Like i read the sequel first and i couldnt imagine kanchan as a despicable violent boyfriend. In the end, he was very toxic and brutal, but i still love his character. I am glad he and yumi seperated though, and its really nice seeing him happy with someone that truly treasures him. I just think the characters were quite realistic and human and that's what i love about this (well also yumi is an adorable lil bub)
