Been there sister. This happened in high school, didn’t explicitly tell my mom that I’m bi, but I did ask my mom what will she think if I dated a woman and decided to marry her. She straight up told me she will not acknowledge it as a real relationship nor will she attend the wedding. I wish I can tell you she’s joking, but I know she’s serious. At least she didn’t say she’ll disown me so that’s a plus?

Same, once I asked her what would happen if one of her sons ( we a are 3 brothers ) was gay and she literally said "That will never happen, I sraised my kids to be 'normal', and If one of you would tell me that, there's nothing that a good punishment and beating would get rid of"
And I was like "oh, boil..."
I just finished reading this (It took me 3 hours lol) and I'm absolutely obsessed with this story. THIS IS HOW YOU DO A ROMANCE/COMEDY STORY
Btw, as a bisexual "woman" (lol the term woman sounds really old) that comes from a really conservative family ( extremists catholic latinos families am I right (? ), the parts where the uke was rejected by his mother made me cry so bad, because I KNOWN for a fact that if I come out of the closet, my mom without any doubt, will do the same to me and none of my relatives would care hahaha
... being gay sucks.
