reading the novel definitely helps. im sure u can only really understand the story in its entirety after having read the novel. but the manhua is definitely more detailed than the donghua

I love to do so really! But I feel like I'm not ready yet. The manhua lost me a few times so I'm sure the novel would do too (￣∇￣") My memory's same as Dory's, you see. Hahaha
I'll re-read the manhua once or twice. When I'm confident enough with my background knowledge of the story, I'll surely read the novel and fully enjoy it. Then after the novel, I'll watch the series too (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

Idk you should prolly read the novel for more substance, the manhwa is like the novel without a lot of the filler/details. The donghua is the anime and you can find all of it subbed on YouTube
Done reading! I think I've split my brain into two. Those Chinese names burst like bubbles in my head. It's hard to retain them in my memory ╥﹏╥ Like "who is 'insertname' again?" But no worries, I just have to reread it again, for like 9 times more. HAHAHA
I am loving the story so far! The plot is so intricately woven. I'm liking its complexity. And man, those beautiful long haired fairies- I mean guys are such eye candies! I'll take them all, even the bad ones. (≧∀≦)
