yesss that’s what I was thinking!! it’s really similar with the older lonely guy who misreads and becomes a bit obsessed with the mc whilst the ‘friend’/love interest frames the men while acting as a saviour to the mc and being there at the right moments to comfort the mc from the harassment/horrific set up he created himself!!! I really like this kind of plot twist it’s always super interesting and well done
Glen the manga has fucked me up so much I now go to the worse case, psycho stalker scenario in every manga I read that has the slightest of red flags
