The point is he never lied or betrayed hyungdo and in the context of their relationship that is the one positive here...he has nothing to redeem himself for with Hyungdo.
Did he suffer enough to work off that bad karma from all the past Charlie's? Probably not but since we don't have his full backstory can we really judge him? Who's to say he didn't do all that stuff out of revenge before? Idk.

Yeah i def getwhat you mean. I just feel kinda weird when a character is acting all bad and manipulative because they had a bad history etc. People with trauma or bad past doesnt mean they turn out as abusive pimps. As for hyungdo he is pretty doomed. Like. Even if he ends uo all happy with that asshat ill be there thinking "we you just ended up with your abuser"
