im not sure but it looks like the flowers she was holding were either orchids or lavenders. orchids are often a symbol of love while lavenders symbolize purity, elegance, and luxury. im not sure if you saw yellow flowers in the background but i really hope not!
In the novel, Jerome only sent red roses. but here I think they included white and or pink, but not yellow.
