because elissa and zay are twins, their soulmates can feel like they're in love with the other twin before meeting their true soulmate. this also happens to elissa's soulmate, he meets zay earlier and feels like he's attracted to her, but it all gets gone after he meets elissa. i think it's quite obvious fom the story by now that aseph and zay are soulmates
Oh that's why the original story has love triangle? since Zay, which supposed to be Aseph soulmate died after birth right?
I wonder how Aseph fell in love with Elissa in the original story if she and Zay have such different characters. Or was Elissa's original character more meek like Zay and her brash character now is a result of Zay's appearance.
