I especially loved how they added Cardinal Richelieu as he is a prominent "bad" guy in french littératures (Sorry I only know the French spelling but I think it's pronounced the same in English)
I used to complain about it too, why do they always depict the church as bad people. But then i think it's a nod to how corrupted the church in the past.
