Being abused still doesn't give you an excuse to abuse others though. Sure he's suffered, and no human deserves to go through that, but he's just as much an asshole still for doing the same thing to others.

I mean not just for the manga but irl too. Besides, I've read the manga so far despite disliking almost every character ╮(￣▽￣)╭ I can't quite pin down what's got me sticking around, haha. But there is something there. I just don't like the idea of defending someone abusive regardless of their past. Abuse is abuse, period. A victim doesn't get a free pass to abuse others. That just creates more victims. So I felt the need to make my case here cuz, while the story is fiction and I don't care if it's handled properly in the story, I don't think spreading the idea that he's validated is okay.
