While being ace is completely valid. It is very clear that this is trauma. Ther are 14 pages in ch. 4 depicting his childhood where his mother had various boyfriends that treated her badly, on pg 26 you see that he's made a list for each boyfriend under the title "Never be like this" and sex is on all of them. Also his mother is giving me bad vibes with those pics she kept taking... I hope he can get over his trauma. （￣へ￣）
I agree, and that makes sense to the original story. Also, the fact that in Japan, asexuality is out of any thought to include in a story anyways (sadly).
It's just amusing to me that the author described an asexual character so perfectly but likely didn't notice. So yeah, Tamaki's character backstory is probably that he's traumatized from his childhood. It would've been quite an interesting twist if he was asexual though
That is true. It feels like only recently, the last two years or so, that they've even acknowledged that bisexuals exist instead of that "I could never love a man, but You are special!". Let's hope that in time knowledge and acceptance is the norm! (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
