I think is more like this :1 life, she's the original athy and Claude kills her. 2life, she reincarnated in the "real world" without remembering who she was and she commit suicide. 3 life, she's again athy but she have the memory of the previous life.
So what I get from this is that she can actually travel through time, I can only guess that the rope means she was executed/suicide but before she could ACTUALLY die, she went through time again and losing memories of her past life. I'm making a theory board, brb
