I totally agree with you and I don't like how people are mad at Asahi for wavering. I mean come on, everybody wavers or becomes unsure of themselves sometimes. They're shitting on him for something that happens to a lot of people especially in relationships.
Thanks. I think anyone would be lucky to have Asahi as their partner. With his kind of personality. He's sweet in his own way, not too clingy but is still super loving and knows how NOT to have a boring conversation. There's so few semes out there who has brains, really. Asahi is not being insensitive. It's very normal for people to talk about or look at the things they find attractive. What's being insensitive is, if and only if, when Masato points out Asahi's habit of it then Asahi becomes defensive and starts gaslighting Masato telling him off. That's what you call being insenstive.
His view of Masato is very pure. He has his own worries to think of. Own problems to solve. Don't think Asahi can be quick in adapting to his newly found sexual identity. He is an ex-hetero after all.
Please don't say "he is is not reliable" or "not sure of his feelings" easily. There were so many scenes in Love Nest where he showed how much he cared for Masato. It's kinda sad just because of this scenario, Asahi's getting bad rep. ┗( T﹏T )┛
