chapter 7
it started with mc looking back at the roles of men and women in the society and the prev memory of the body she was in that the lady being wicked is the fathers fault because he never looks on her yet gave all of the affection to his son pluss the father send his kid on some faraway area to study (this one i'm not sure who was sent to study, because u know getting educated is also favorable,, but i guess it was our mc who was sent out seeing she was left out in the pic) which leads to an awkward relationship between the two mostly bc of lack of communication
actually mc just wanna tlk with dad to get help on breaking up the engagement it seems but the dad told mc that it's not wise to talk in the hallway if its important (dad doesn't know what they're gonna talk about because he just cut his daughter off mid-sentence) dad told mc they'll talk in a room and
mc was already in front of the room then father appeared on the door telling mc to be back 5 then change his mind to 10 min with that mc is already wondering what's wrong with the duke and is once more imagining scenarios on her mind ,,, such as before she assassinates the prince she wil be assassinated by the duke after
moving on mc already entered the room,, beholddddd because the room was in pink (even the attire of the duke is pink asdfghjklomp!!!) so mc was wondering if there was a B-day party for his brother that his dad hid from her....... everything was on pink and the mc can't even think straight cause duke is still looking scary even with pink robe so she admitted that she is 500x more scared than than usual
mc is once more having her imaginations thinking that its weird and scary so she ask the duke if he got struck in the head and what is he dressed up for and hold back saying she almost said something immoral
she regained her composure and get back to her agenda but the duke cut her off again and offered her tea and refreshments that he prepared.... mc declined and duke said something about car (or tea cup? edited now i'm sure it was the tea set/ cup) being in the trend.. mc getting suspicious with his dad even thinking that the tea is poisoned (this just really show for me how mc was left alone for too long that she has distrust for everyone TT-TT) it ended with mc wondering if she can really drink the tea.
