I mean idk about the future but up until now it only seems like Seungho only thinks of Nakyum as his posession, he didn't even read the sign for him? I think most people brush over that lol It's silly to me how most readers hate inhun so much when Seungho threatened to kill Nakyum just cause he was annoyed that he was talking to Inhun, he made sexual advances on him that were not welcome, he slaps him, he almost puts him through a straw beating??? But Inhun is the worst one cause after Nakyum lied to him about the paintings, lied about how he'd get help from Seungho with his studies and position while hiding the fact that he was having sex with him even after Inhun showed he was against it and didn't want Nakyum to follow that path... I mean Inhun isn't an angel but he got Nakyum out of the brothel didn't he? So he probably does feel very uncomfortable watching him paint the erotic paintings and have sex with a man he doesn't even know, of course he'd get pissed. Even in the scene where Nakyum wants to run away but Inhun tells him to go back- like at no point was Nakyum honest about what was happening, he never told him he was being abused. People like Seungho because no one knows what happened in his past so they have their hopes up about him being traumatized or something... but they don't know what happened clearly in inhun's and Nakyum's past either

I don't think Seungho likes Nakyum in any sort of romantic, caring, or affectionate way, he's interested in him because he's naive and unfamiliar with his sexual desires despite being raised in a brothel. Lotus in the swamp type of shit. Well not yet at least, idk what will happen, but I think people are delusional and pointing fingers while every character in the story is not exactly righteous or innocent, not even Nakyum, he's aware that what he's doing is dangerous.

I appreciate every character in this story for what they are, I like Inhun because he makes his interests very clear and he's not playing nice to get what he wants, but it doesn't mean I dislike the others, I'm just aware of their flaws while most people choose to ignore them.

I think you missed a lot of nuances that Seungho showed towards Nakyum. Seungho changing as he interacts with Nakyum. Definitely not what one would normally consider as romantic but he likes Nakyum more than just being fascinated to his sex sleeve. Yes, Seungho started liking Nakyum for his talent, someone who is able to capture the beauty of gay sex, the way he does, in a tangible art form. But when Nakyum gave attention to Seungho albeit while drunk, Seungho realized his attraction goes beyond Nakyum's art.

And Seungho is yes a cruel man but his aggressiveness became more and more a useless threat. Just out of habit but never meant to take action, at least towards Nakyum. Him not reading the announcement for Nakyum, is his sassy side and him irritated that Inhun claims to be a scholar and aims for position (albeit plagiarizing a poem), prides himself for teaching Nakyum that such sexual affairs are immoral and saving him from the brothel YET did not teach Nakyum how to read. Another big YET that Nakyum still adores Inhun.

I guess it's just a matter of principles. Seungho is not kind, hot headed, and spoiled but he is not a hypocrite. He will get the things he wants bearing all his intentions, even with brutal force. He is a wolf through and through. While Inhun pretends to be a respectable scholar yet manipulates innocent people. A wolf in sheep's clothing.

For Seungho, if you're bad, be bad. If you're nice, be nice. Don't half ass stuff. And readers probably liked that, plus he is just fucking hot.

I don't know about Inhun not playing nice. He was playing nice all this time until the latest chapter (40) when Nakyum was useless to him.

And Nakyum, being a low born, pretty much it's ingrained in him that he must repay what Inhun did for him, getting him out of the brothel, that's it, nothing else. Also, hoping that if he does well, he'll get more attention and praise from his "savior". So he will put himself in a dangerous situation for him. But Seungho is slowly making him realize (and Inhun showing more and more of his true colors) that Inhun doesn't really care a shit about him.
