People step all over you when you don't put your foot down. It honestly has nothing to do with Mason liking cute stuff. They saw they could torment Mason to make themselves feel superior. They saw that Mason wouldn't go against them. That's why they bullied him. Had Mason had a personality like Aiden's brother with 0 tolerance for bullshit, no one would've messed with him.
