Honestly, im betting on the widow, because the cousin and the girls are too dumb, the grandparents don't have any reason...
The widow could be getting some kind of revenge like "How dare he be the heir when my child would have been if my husband was still alive!!!"
But it's true that Cedric is kinda suspicious, he could've done all that just to falsely accuse someone he doesn't like. And I kinda suspect him to be Lutin because he was abroad before which kinda match with the thief's activities in the other kingdoms, and by coincidence, just as he comes back here, there is heist...
Why do I feel like the widow and that asshole of a cousin are too obvious of a choice,
