(spoiler) What version did you watch? If you watched all the way to the end, you'll know WWX came back to the spot where they parted and LWJ found him again
They are together again at the end! There's a time lapse you can also see it on WWX clothes. When LWJ calls him and WWX turns around and smiles at him, that's the moment they are united again.
I'd love that but I highly doubt it, the anime is rly popular from what I understand so itd never get passed censorship especially since untamed couldnt manage it either (super popular also) these mediums do the best that they can. I mean call me crazy but I can see their romance in every version I've watched/read it's just in various forms bc china lol
