Taku has got to be one of the most mysterious and confusing characters I’ve ever seen and I don’t know why. Usually when characters say “I don’t know what they’re thinking” or “___ is a riddle.” how their mind works is pretty much usually revealed or the character wasn’t really all that complicated in the first place but with Taku.... With Taku I have no fucking idea. Even now I still have no idea if he actually loves Haesoo. I think it’s because he lacks real emotion in everything he does, like everything just seems fake? He’s always well-composed? Like with this new chapter, when he talks about seeing someone else in love, I might be interpreting this wrong but I got the impression he was trying to vicariously feel love through Haesoo loving Joowon? Like some sort of attempt to feel emotion? Don’t get me wrong, I’m not rooting for Joowon either, but I can understand Joowon a bit at least? Taku just confuses me. I’d rather nobody end up together but if Haesoo has to end up with someone I’d rather it be Taku.
