Both Allen and the Prince are basically the same. Just scheming so that they can have what isn't theirs. Neither one of them seem to see her as full person.

We all know she will end up with the prince cut ugh...But I hope at least the writer does that after she has achieved real independence, just like Doctor Elise did. Then again in Doctor Elise that prince managed to get to the point where he respected her life choices and only interfered with her career when she was over working herself.
